Hi I’m Roxanne and I'm the founder of Ready, Steady, Walkies. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. l've always been the one stopping to say hello to every dog, offering to pet sit for friends, or learning as much as I can about animal behavior and care. I've now been running Ready, Steady, Walkies for five years, building a trusted reputation locally. Known for reliability, safety, and a genuinely caring service. What started as a passion has grown into a well-established business built on strong relationships with both dogs and their owners. I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your dog, which is why I prioritise clear communication, consistency, and creating real bonds with every dog I walk. As a fully insured and DBS checked professional dog walker, I take huge pride in offering a dependable, friendly service that local families can rely on. Whether your dog is energetic and adventurous or prefers a slower pace, I tailor every walk to suit their personality and needs. There's nothing better than seeing a happy content dog after a good walk - and thats exactly what I provide every single day

I'm Daisy, and I'm so proud to be part of the Ready, Steady, Walkies team. I've been dog walking since I was 18, starting while I was at university in Edinburgh. I missed my family dog, Lucy, who was back home in Sussex, and I needed somewhere to share all that puppy love - so I started dog walking and haven't looked back since. I've worked alongside Roxanne for over a year now. We first met when I hired her as a professional dog walker to help with my pup, Link. I immediately saw how passionate she was and how much she genuinely loved the dogs in her care. So when she mentioned she was looking for a helper, I jumped at the chance and I'm so glad I did. l've loved every minute so far! I'm fully insured, DBS checked, and completely devoted to making sure every dog has the best possible time. My goal is always to make owners' lives easier by ensuring their pup enjoys engaging play, proper exercise, and lots of loving companionship. I have two dogs of my own
- Lucy, my 13-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who has taught me compassion and patience, and Link, my energetic one-year-old Cavapoo (mostly "poo," very little "cava"!), who reminds me daily that mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise. As a passionate dog walker, I cover areas like Forest row, ashurst wood and sharpthorne. Spending time with these wonderful pups never fails to put a smile on my face - whatever the weather!
